Hornberger is safeguarding our hard-earned money

Sunday, February 11, 2024

Cecil County Executive Danielle Hornberger is safeguarding our hard-earned money that we give our government for public services, and all she gets is grief from people who do not understand the process and believe the Social Justice practices that Lawson used our tax money to prepare for removing conservative leadership who wants to hold him accountable.

Below are two links to letters that are important to read to understand about what is REALLY going on with the Lawson proposed cuts to students resources.
Lawson does not want to be accountable to the Cecil County tax payer and the executive who oversees our tax dollars. Superintendent Lawson rather says he will cut very important resources to our students that have the students and parents in an uproar and takes aim at Cecil County Executive Danielle Hornberger instead of doing his part as Superintendent of the schools to justify more money. He is getting paid nearly a quarter of a million dollars a year and he cannot produce information to us when requested?

All we are asking for is accountability on CCPS spending to ensure the money is truly being spent on education for our students and if additional funds are needed.  We do not want to continue to toss money over the fence while not understanding why they need so much money and if they are doing their part to prevent waste and fraud.
